About MADLAD
MADLAD (Brett Schlaff) is a 23-year-old electronic dance music artist and DJ hailing from Michigan. Schlaff’s journey into electronic dance music began in 5th grade. Schlaff attended Tiffin University’s TiffinMusic Summer Camp at ages fourteen and sixteen. There he studied under the direction of Brian Fitzy, PRISCA and Brad Rees. Schlaff earned a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Arts Technology from Western Michigan University. At WMU he studied under the direction of Professor John Campos, Dr. Christopher Biggs, and Dr. Carter Rice. Schlaff’s sophomore album BREAKOUT is now available on all streaming platforms. Schlaff’s music is heavily influenced by artists such as Skrillex, Virtual Riot, Porter Robinson, Knock2, ISOxo, as well as a plethora of others.
